The Hall’s Pizza Kitchen Creates Cozy Nostalgic Atmosphere for Casual Dining

Venture down the alley at 1004 N. Hudson, and you will discover one of Oklahoma City’s most unique dining hangouts tucked away from sight.

The Hall’s Pizza Kitchen, located in Suite 106, is an Italian wood-fired pizza mecca within the bones of an old tire shop. Utilizing the original brick and even some of the old paint from the industrial building, Hall’s Pizza Kitchen is both modern and antiqued with a comfortable feel that makes just hanging out relaxing and unstressful.

From the powder blue sofa in the entryway to the black-and-white tile bar and the rustic, exposed brickwork upstairs, Hall’s Pizza Kitchen is unique, and that’s just how owners and sisters, Elise and Molly Hall, like it.

“We took an old tire store and shop and added a few pieces. But we wanted to keep elements from the era. The walls and floors are essentially the same as it was when it was a shop,” Elise says. “You can see tire scuffs and old paint from the original building.”

The space is perfect for hosting events like parties, engagement parties, rehearsal dinners, baby showers and more. The upstairs rooftop patio is also ideal for after-hours drinks and snacks and offers a stunning view of downtown Oklahoma City and its golden sunsets.

“We are one of the few rooftop dining patios,” Elise says. “Our upstairs area is also very popular. Some days, people only sit upstairs.”

The downstairs dining room is brightly lit thanks to a modified glass garage door and includes elements like a mustard-colored and wood semi-circle booth. The bakery downstairs with its black-and-white tile elements serves up cookies and treats, including wood-fired bagels, cinnamon rolls and brunch pizza during Saturday brunch.

“Lots of people just come and hang out with their family and friends. I think our building is one of the most unique in Oklahoma City, and now we have a streetcar stop right outside,” Elise says. “We truly are a hidden gem back here in the alley. There’s not another place that has the look and feel of our building.”

The Hall’s Pizza Kitchen serves Italian wood-fired pizzas, salads, starters, vegan options and dessert.
