Coffee Jerks Shares the Recipe for a Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

A smoothie made with some milk or a milk alternative like almond milk and perhaps even a little protein powder can be a seriously easy and nutritious way to start your day or satisfy a craving.

Peanut Butter Protein Smoothie

Ingredients

1 1/2 cups almond milk

2 tablespoons peanut butter

1 scoop vanilla whey protein powder

A cup full of ice

Optional: 1 banana, sweetener of choice, a handful of berries

Directions

Put all ingredients in a blender and pulse until smooth. Can top with grated coconut, nuts or toasted oats.
