Bella Luce Med Spa Offering EMSELLA

Bella Luce Med Spa in OKC now has the latest technology for female incontinence, the Emsella. Bella Luce is the only spa to have this technology in the state of Oklahoma and northern Texas.

The Emsella from BTL Aesthetics is the first device of its kind. FDA cleared for treating urinary incontinence, the BTL Emsella is a chair that uses a high-intensity electromagnetic field to activate motor neurons in the pelvic floor.

By strengthening the pelvic floor, improvements are seen for stress incontinence (coughing, sneezing, jumping) and urge incontinence.

“Many women suffer from urinary incontinence but don’t know that there are ways to help with it,” Andi Kenney, spa manager, says. “Our team is excited to introduce the BTL Emsella to the state of Oklahoma. We hope this revolutionary technology can help many of these women become more confident and comfortable in their everyday activities.”

One 28-minute session will cause 11,200 contractions.

The treatment protocol is a total of six sessions, two per week for three weeks.

Standard & Poor’s, Moody’s Reaffirm Oklahoma City’s AAA Bond Rating

For the eighth year in a row, Oklahoma City has earned the highest bond ratings possible from two of the nation’s most respected financial rating services.

The city’s general obligation bonds received a AAA rating from Standard & Poor’s and a Aaa rating from Moody’s Investor Service in reports released this month.

The reaffirmed bond ratings will apply to the 2018 bond sale, which includes funding for projects in the Better Streets, Safer City infrastructure investment program. The city sold about $124 million in bonds on March 27, of which about $74 million is for Better Streets, Safer City bond projects. The rest is for the remaining projects in the 2007 bond program.

Strong financial policies and practices, high reserve levels and the city’s role as an economic center are three of the factors that led to Oklahoma City’s strong rating.

The reports put Oklahoma City in an elite group of major American cities with the highest ratings possible. The strong ratings allow the city to sell bonds at lower interest rates, and the savings allow the city to spend more on bond projects.
